The Chef Deck playing cards are featured as a stocking stuffer in the holiday issue of Sift Magazine! Go pick up this gorgeous issue. I'm already drooling over the recipes. (Umm, that Star Bread looks amazing.) Stock is running low on the playing cards. I may re-order if there is enough interest, but in the meantime, go ahead and pick up a deck (or more!) here.
Have you checked out this year's new holiday greeting card collection? What are you waiting for?!
Pre-orders are being taken now. Cards ship in October. Be the first to get new designs at the River City Marketplace on September 23rd from 11am-5pm at Tahoe Park in Sacramento.
I design my holiday cards in the spring and summer, so it's so nice to finally be able to share them with you! I have several designs available for pre-order now. They are more detailed than last year's batch and I added more cute creatures and designs. From a survey I did in the spring, many folks said they wanted more nature and animal inspired designs, so here you are! I'm really proud of this new batch. Check them out here!
I designed a custom thank you card for my friend, chef extraordinaire, caterer, and cookbook author Jenn de la Vega who just released her first cookbook called Showdown Comfort Food, Chili & BBQ. It's available now, so pick it up on Amazon or your favorite local book seller. She wanted a card that matched the style of her book, so we worked together in creating this fun grilled steak illustration and design. We went through a couple variations before settling on this one. I had a blast working on it. I also created some patterns which I hope to share shortly!
Below are some early versions that weren't chosen, but show the process of this project.
I received a bunch of samples of work I did for the New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco. It's so fun to see these pieces in person. They're all so nice. I love print design!
Included in this batch is the brand new brochure featuring their 17-18 season shows. I designed the brochure and the art for all 7(!) shows. I can't wait to share more with you in the coming months. I got to do a bunch of illustration work and am thrilled with the results.
My new floral greeting card line continues with this "thanks" card featuring an abstract tulip. It's bright and fun and perfect for the spring-like weather we're having on the West coast (unlike the blizzard raging on the East coast right now.)
Pick it up on Etsy, and while you're at it save 15% off with the code SAYTHANKS.
And with that, I say thanks to you for reading :)
Here is something a little bright for these short winter days. I've been working on a new organic inspired card collection. First up are these brand new floral thank you cards featuring tulips and roses and even a little bee! Everyone loves receiving thank you cards. These are available in singles and soon in packs and include bright red envelopes. These will really stand out in the mail!
I have a limited supply available on Etsy.
Part of the collection includes this abstract tulip pattern in peach and rusty red. Interior is blank for your own custom message. These cards are great for a variety of occasions including thank yous, or just to say "hello".
Grab it on Etsy.
I'll be revealing more cards soon.
I'll have these Lady Chef Recipe Cards for sale at the Winter Scout Market hosted by City Scout Magazine tomorrow, Thursday December 15th from 4-9PM. They are available in sets of 10, wrapped with twine. These make great stocking stuffers for foodies, chefs and anyone who likes food (isn't that everyone?) They are the standard size, 6" x 4", and blank for writing in your favorite recipes.
Designed & printed in California.
