If you missed the run on Kickstarter, you can now grab a copy of the new NES game Nebs n’ Debs created by Chris of Dullahan Software. I designed the packaging, manual, and label and it was a fantastic project to work on. I never thought I’d get to design the packaging for a Nintendo game in the 21st century! If you didn’t hold on to your game system, you can get a digital copy to play.
WOW! My friend Chris Cacciatore’s NEW game Nebs ‘n Debs is 475% funded on Kickstarter! His campaign ends in 36 hours, so if you’re interested, donate soon. I’m helping him with the design work on this project including the box and manual for the game.
As I kid I grew up with a Super Nintendo that I loved and spent countless hours playing Super Mario World (the music will forever be etched into my brain), Wario Woods, and we even had a Wayne’s World SNES game. Who would have thought that in 2018 I would be designing a box and manual for an NES game?! I love fun projects like this.
My longtime friend Chris Cacciatore of Dullahan Software launched his Kickstarter campaign this morning to raise $5,000 to fund his game Nebs 'n Debs that he's been working on for the past several years. He came in 2nd in the 2016 NESDEV competition, and since then has been refining and developing it into a fully playable game. It's available to play digitally with an NES emulator or you can get a real-deal NES cartridge if you still have your original Nintendo.
I've been assisting with the design of the box and other elements, but the original illustration was created by the incredibly talented Kaela Camille Agustin. Check out her wonderful work on her website.
